By accessing and using HaulMonitor.io, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on HaulMonitor.io for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

Modifying or copying the materials
Using the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
Attempting to reverse engineer any software contained on HaulMonitor.io
Removing any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
Transferring the materials to another person or "mirroring" the materials on any other server

3. Disclaimer - IMPORTANT

HaulMonitor.io is a SOFTWARE PLATFORM, NOT A PAYMENT GUARANTOR, ELD, BROKERAGE, CARRIER, OR LEGAL SERVICE.

We do not guarantee that brokers, shippers, or other parties will pay detention invoices generated through HaulMonitor.io.

The materials on HaulMonitor.io's website are provided on an 'as is' basis. HaulMonitor.io makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

Invoice Accuracy: All detention calculations are based on information you provide or authorize to be collected. While we strive for accuracy, HaulMonitor.io is not responsible for:

Errors in manually entered information
GPS inaccuracies or signal loss
Clock synchronization issues on user devices
Broker or shipper refusal to pay detention charges
Disputes over detention rates or free time limits
Facility manager disputes about arrival/departure times

4. Broker Payment Disclaimer

HaulMonitor.io provides tools to document and invoice detention time. However, payment is ultimately a contract between you and the broker. If a broker refuses to pay your detention invoice, HaulMonitor.io does not:

Collect payment on your behalf
Pursue legal action against the broker
Guarantee acceptance of your invoice
Act as a debt collection agency

HaulMonitor.io provides documentation, communication, workflow, planning, and operating tools but does not collect detention debts or decide contractual payment obligations. Disputes over detention charges should be resolved by the parties to the applicable contract or through appropriate professional/legal channels.

5. GPS Data Accuracy

GPS coordinates are provided "as is" from your device's location services. HaulMonitor.io is not responsible for:

GPS signal loss or inaccuracy
Your device's GPS hardware or software issues
Location spoofing or deliberate misuse of GPS

For critical load documentation, we recommend obtaining facility-verified timestamps (gate passes, appointment confirmations) to corroborate GPS data.

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password
Accepting responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
Providing accurate information in your account and load entries
Notifying us of unauthorized access to your account
Not using HaulMonitor.io for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Verifying HOS Complete planning output against your actual ELD/record of duty status, carrier policy, current FMCSA requirements, and applicable exceptions before driving
Using Fuel Monitor calculations as planning estimates and verifying actual fuel needs based on your vehicle, route, load, weather, operating conditions, and company policy

7. Limitations of Liability

In no event shall HaulMonitor.io or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on HaulMonitor.io's Internet site, even if HaulMonitor.io or a HaulMonitor.io authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

8. Accuracy of Materials

The materials appearing on HaulMonitor.io's website could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. HaulMonitor.io does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete, or current. HaulMonitor.io may make changes to the materials contained on its website at any time without notice.

9. Materials & Content Ownership

The materials on HaulMonitor.io's website are owned by HaulMonitor.io. You retain all rights to any content you upload (gate passes, BOLs, photos, comments), but grant HaulMonitor.io a license to use aggregated and anonymized data for platform improvement and facility statistics.

10. Revisions

HaulMonitor.io may revise these terms of service for its website at any time without notice. By using this website, you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.
